Well, when I used to Readings for people I would simply pass on what he'd tell me to pass on. Once I had a male client who asked me for proof that Raven (and being psychic) existed, and Raven showed me an image of a river stone on a window ledge. I explained the entire picture in as much detail as I could. After I'd finished the description and he'd asked me some questions about the details the guy was totally gobsmacked; I'd described an area of his house and a stone that was very special to him in such great detail. I'd only just met the guy, I'd never been to his house and no one else knew how special this particular stone was to him. It surprised me a crapload.. XD
Quite a few times information has come through in a reading where the information seemed like the most innane thing and I'd find out from the client that it was important. Little details… like… a hat a relative wore before he died or the kind of tobacco someone smoked or the favourite colour of someone.. or one time he knew something was going to happen before it happened… that was spooky.. lol. Sometimes there's even been information that the client hasn't known until later. Like Raven told me to talk about a particular ancestor of a client, he was very particular to tell me all the connections to this person. Then he said for the client to go and ask a particular living relative of the client because she was the only one alive who knew about the connection to this other great aunt figure. Neither I nor the client knew about this person, but the relative confirmed all the details.
Odin and Kuan Yin often teach me things I can't really describe easily. I've had dreams of Kuan Yin where I've a problem and she's shown me a solution. Like.. I had a dream of going to a great white stone temple, and inside was a master tarot reader who was doing readings, I came along and could see that the reader wasn't seeing the truth behind the cards.. only the cards themselves and I corrected him as politely and respectfully as possible. His fans gathered around him started getting all hoha (um.. angry and offensive), but Kuan Yin stood next to me and told me that instead of focusing on the fans I should focus on the person I'm helping, and the Master Tarot Reader was thankful for me showing him the truth under the cards and so was the person who was the focus of the reading. So she taught me to change my focus from the people who are critical of me to focus only on the person I'm trying to help. That helped me with my anxiety with doing readings and Reiki in the real world. Odin taught me about the runes. I'd collected many sources for the meanings of the runes and put them all together in one document and then started to learn how to use them to make charms for people and bindrunes for my own purposes, and Odin would correct me, he'd say, no this intellectual who analysed the history of this rune has misinterpreted the meaning. I think it was the Rune Gebo, which means "gifts" and "relations", he said that in english these two ideas are separate, but in the time when Norse was a language spoken it was customary when one met with relations that gifts were exchanged as a sign of communication and love and familial bonds, so this rune is more about relationships than just simply giving gifts. He did this for most of the runes.. though a majority of the detail mistakes he told me about were minor. But later on I found more sources for the runes which supported many of tweaks he suggested.
Those sorts of things… how can I possibly have known.. even on a subconscious level? At least that's my idea anyway. :)
Btw… I see and hear spirits.
