Turns out it's not, by the way.

Yesterday I had a bit of a spiritual epiphany I guess, or I just found my stride again in a way I haven't had for along time. Before bed I also charged the shit out of my labradorite, asking for help with dreams and seeing guides if possible.

I actually got what I wanted for once, although I don't remember much. I was sleeping heavily. I dreamt about the teacher again and he was there pretty much the whole dream. It was interesting, we'll see if this stone's charge does other dreams about him and Drummond, as asked.

Good news: I think I lucid dreamed for the first time
Bad news: It was pretty limited and I continued to think like an apathetic sleeping person, also the desired party for contact seemed not to be present.

Does anyone else have a guardian who absolutely refuses to listen to music? August hates the stuff, he'll make me turn it off and be really scary if I won't, but he also won't enter my room if there's music on… Or any room, really.

Well, I can kinda interact with my goldfish, as can August… Though I'm nicer to them than he is. Cats generally like me, but when August's around they're more wary…

Re: Pets by ItsTheEndItsTheEnd, 11 Apr 2010 14:59

Duly noted. People who take medical advice off the internet are not very intelligent to begin with, in my opinion.

Re: Introductions by ItsTheEndItsTheEnd, 11 Apr 2010 13:14

Just as a comment, though, he has limited vision in one eye, and the other side of his head has an almost constant headache… It sounds like a tumor. He's getting it checked out tomorrow, though.
Also, though, August says it's NOT a tumor, and that Lex(I was talking to MonochromeMan(what I call him since I don't know his name)) is actually named Alex- he misheard the name originally.
But yeah, with the headaches and the vision and what, it sounds like a tumor.

Could be. Animals are usually terrified of me until they've had to live with me for a while, and then they really like me. So maybe.

I know they're fake. The whole "NOOO IT'S A TUUUUMOOOOR" thing sortof makes a little nest in the back of your mind and stinks up the place though.

Next thing you know you're talking about something paranormal and you start thinking "Oh noes it's a tumor I'm going to have brain damage x.x"

Not certain. I have never experienced anything of the sort.

Just to restate the obvious, (as far as I am aware) we are not licensed medical practitioners nor should our advice be taken in that capacity.

I'm going to regret this probably but…. those stories are fake. I didn't write them but I know the person who did. She's an artist somewhere.

I've had a lot of pets since my father died, and there seems to be a certain trend that I've been noticing. Cats that I have been around for more than a few days seem to bond to me much faster than they normally would to other people. They love me unconditionally, let me pick them up when they normally do not like so, etc. They also are more tolerant of others when I am around. However, when I leave, their personalities seem to change. This has happened with several cats and a few dogs, and I'm curious as to whether this is an ownership thing, or whether your guardian could actually influence your pets.

I think the Beau stories on /x/ scared a lot of us really bad about tumors. In those stories it ends when she finds out she has one and goes in for surgery after Beau complains that it might "ruin her voice forever" (he was a beastie that stole childrens' voices, but he didn't steal hers because he loved her) by making it so she doesn't understand language anymore.

Well, it's up to him if he wants to come here; maybe he should see someone about it, but at the same time there are a lot of us in similar boats WITHOUT tumours or illnesses that still have similar stories, so…

Re: Introductions by (account deleted), 09 Apr 2010 04:09

I'm kinda glad I came back now, too. While I'm going to therapy and whatever because of the nervous breakdowns, it's different to talk about him in this kind of setting. Not sure if I should try to convince Monochrome Man(I think that was his trip) to come on here or not. He seems pretty convinced it's a tumor.

Hey, good to meet you! I'm glad you came back, I was posting in the same thread with you about August and Lex, etc.

:3

Re: Introductions by (account deleted), 08 Apr 2010 21:50

Okay. So. I didn't see any thread for introductions, so I started one here. Because I'd like to say hi, and that I'm sorry that I haven't posted at all here. I'm just really lazy.
My name's Ren, my guardian/whatever(he doesn't protect me, he's not my friend, I don't even LIKE him) is named August. He's just a general jerk to me.
So yeah, nice to meet everyone here and I hope to become good friends with you, if at all possible.

Interesting dream last night.

I've been sick for a little while, and last night was a shitty night. I was having a hard time sleeping and I've noticed that when I take Nyquil, I start to talk a little when I fall asleep. I would periodically wake up to the sound of my voice, over and over again.

I must have taken that to my dreams. I dreamt that I was sleeping and talking in my sleep. There was a man beside me and he was sort of trying to get me to stop talking or to see what was going on in my dreams. My voice changed and "I", still sleeping, talked to him. It wasn't me, I think, that actually spoke but someone spoke through me. They/I told him to stop messing with their conduit or he would end up hurt. They liked me sleeping and dreaming so they could do what they wanted, something like that.

When I woke up in the dream he was so very upset and freaked out over it. I tried to get him to tell me what the voices said because the dream me couldn't remember. I woke myself up again in reality and went to get a drink of water. I felt very… strange after that one.
